Hi, I’m Claire Breedlove LCSW.

After spending close to twenty years moving around Africa, South Asia, and the West Coast, I’m happy to be back home in Louisiana, living on the bayou and hoping that the alligators don’t wander out of the water and onto my porch too often. I bake and cook when I am stressed, and my friends and family always know who is responsible when an unmarked casserole or a dozen cookies mysteriously appears at their door. I love country music, and I am not ashamed to wear my Dolly Parton merch. I am active in the Church and have aspirations of one day being called as nursery leader.

I work with members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who deal with scrupulosity, a form of obsessive compulsive disorder that affects faith and spirituality. I know that finding peace in Christ is sometimes complicated, and I am so grateful to be able to help Latter-day Saints learn to manage their anxiety and confidently move forward on the covenant path.
